Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor to our customers. You will help them configure, deploy, and optimize data science products within their complex enterprise environments, blending hands-on technical skills with strong communication to solve real-world challenges and influence product development.
What You'll Do
- Partner with customer technical teams to assess infrastructure and provide expert guidance on product architecture and deployment.
- Lead technical success planning for key accounts, ensuring product adoption aligns with customer goals and infrastructure capabilities.
- Translate customer needs into actionable insights for Sales, Product, and Support teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify and escalate technical risks or challenges early to support proactive problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve team processes to enhance productivity, focus, and work-life balance.
- Influence product direction by providing customer-driven feedback to product management and engineering teams.
- Facilitate technical discussions on complex enterprise IT environments, including Linux system administration and container orchestration.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience working in enterprise IT environments, particularly with Linux and system administration.
- Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including production advantages and trade-offs.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Proactive, curious, and self-directed work ethic with a customer-first mindset.
- Empathy, humility, and a willingness to acknowledge knowledge gaps while driving solutions.
- Experience in technical consulting, customer support, or solutions engineering roles supporting complex software products.
