F5 is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

F5 is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive technical sales engagements for our Enterprise and Commercial customers in the Eastern US. You’ll partner with sales teams to articulate F5’s value and deliver solutions that meet customer business objectives. Your technical acumen will be key to achieving sales targets and providing world-class service throughout the customer lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Articulate F5’s product strategy and value proposition in the context of customer business goals.
  • Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
  • Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and relevant business drivers.
  • Determine opportunity viability and map customer organizational structure.
  • Partner with Account Managers to drive the sales process by identifying and winning over Technical Decision Makers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, sharing best practices and expertise.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp).
  • Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, web applications, and protocols like TCP/IP, SSL, DNS, and SMTP.
  • Skills in Linux/UNIX systems and networking technologies.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience with API development and/or management.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment.
  • Background working with enterprise customers in financial services.
  • A BS/BA degree in a relevant field (CS, EE, MIS) or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience as a Sales Engineer.

You’ll be part of the sales organization, working in partnership with a Sales Director and the NA Named Accounts team in the Eastern US.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $129,900.00 - $194,900.00
  • Incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits.

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates based in the Eastern United States.
