EX Squared is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (Remote - US)

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative, end-to-end data solutions across modern cloud platforms. In this client-facing role, you will translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and deliver end-to-end data solutions across platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks.
• Develop high-quality technical solutions that ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.
• Lead technical teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Serve as a client-facing technical advisor, creating presentations, detailed solution documentation, and architectural diagrams.
• Translate business and client requirements into actionable technical solutions, including proofs-of-concept and roadmaps.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or Scala.
• Expertise with core cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and SQL.
• Experience with multiple data sources (relational, NoSQL, files, queues, APIs) and data integration technologies (Spark, Kafka, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, etc.).
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including system views, class hierarchies, and sequence diagrams.
• Strong client-facing written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated data transformation and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi).
• Familiarity with distributed data storage systems (S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, ElasticSearch/Solr, Cassandra).
• Proven track record in mentoring and leading technical teams.
