The Voleon Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Team. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure that enables our data-intensive, quantitative research and trading activities.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable platform services and infrastructure
- Improve the developer experience by building tools and automation for deployment, monitoring, and testing
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and other engineering teams to understand platform needs and deliver robust solutions
- Lead technical projects and advocate for engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record designing, building, and operating distributed systems and platform infrastructure
- Deep expertise in one or more systems languages such as C++, Java, or Go
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and performance optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality, maintainable code
