The role involves building and maintaining core platform infrastructure that supports high-volume data processing and API services, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and performant in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems for data processing and storage
- Improve reliability and performance of distributed systems
- Collaborate with data and product teams to deliver platform capabilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues across cloud environments
- Develop APIs and internal tools for engineering teams
- Optimize data pipeline efficiency and throughput
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Support platform security and compliance standards
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of services
- Automate operational workflows and deployment processes
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
