SanMar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team and build the next generation of our AI-powered marketing platform. You will tackle complex technical challenges around AI-driven personalization, intelligent message optimization, and scalable system architecture while mentoring fellow engineers and driving technical excellence.

What You'll Do

Build intelligent systems that learn and adapt from customer behavior patterns in real-time.
Develop predictive algorithms that optimize message timing, content, and personalization at scale.
Create self-improving recommendation engines that automatically enhance campaign performance.
Design ML pipelines that unlock insights from millions of customer interactions.
Contribute to technical roadmaps and provide input on architectural decisions for high-volume systems.
Lead design discussions for new features and platform improvements, ensuring scalability and performance.
Make strategic technology decisions on frameworks, tools, and infrastructure that align with business objectives.
Build and optimize high-performance, distributed systems that power AI-driven marketing personalization.
Develop intelligent decision engines that understand customer intent and preferences.
Drive resolution of technical debt and implement architectural improvements across the platform.
Ensure systems maintain high uptime while handling peak traffic loads.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Establish and champion code quality standards, design patterns, and development workflows.
Foster a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise and best practices across the team.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of software engineering experience with modern web technologies.
Strong proficiency in at least one of: Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling principles.
Experience with message queues, caching systems, and real-time data processing.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually + equity included in compensation package.
