Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems that ensure the performance and reliability of Cloudflare’s network.
- Work closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve performance and reliability issues.
- Develop and maintain tools and systems to monitor and improve network performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the reliability of Cloudflare’s services.
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and ensure the reliability of Cloudflare’s network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems, networking, and performance engineering.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience with distributed systems, networking, and performance engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with network performance and reliability engineering.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with network protocols and technologies.
