Join a forward-thinking product and tech team as a Senior Software Engineer focused on mobile development. You'll take ownership of evolving our Flutter-based application, working across the full stack with an emphasis on scalable architecture, clean code, and intelligent use of AI in development workflows.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement new features in Flutter, ensuring high performance and maintainability across iOS and Android platforms
- Lead technical decision-making with attention to user experience, system scalability, and long-term product goals
- Drive improvements in code quality through rigorous reviews, testing, and adherence to SOLID and clean code principles
- Collaborate with Product and Design to refine requirements and deliver robust, user-centric solutions
- Optimize application stability, responsiveness, and reliability through continuous iteration
- Contribute to architectural planning and help define best practices for mobile development
- Use AI as a core part of daily development, not just a supplementary tool
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in mobile software engineering
- Proven track record building and maintaining cross-platform or native mobile applications
- Deep understanding of Dart and Flutter for delivering high-quality user experiences
- Familiarity with mobile-specific challenges including performance, lifecycle management, and platform differences
- Strong foundation in test-driven development and common testing strategies
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and established mobile design patterns
- Experience working in fast-moving environments, ideally within startups or early-stage products
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to technical excellence and team collaboration
Preferred Background
- Full-stack awareness, including backend systems and DevOps practices
- Experience with native Android or iOS development
- Working knowledge of Firebase in modern mobile architectures
- Familiarity with analytics platforms like Amplitude or Braze to inform product decisions
Work Environment
This role supports remote work across Europe, with optional presence in Berlin, Cologne, or London. Tech & Product roles can work fully remotely. A hybrid model allows 1–3 days onsite depending on location, with flexibility to work temporarily from other locations when needed.
