Responsibilities
- Transform exploratory notebooks into production-grade software by extracting reusable, well-documented, and tested modules with defined APIs.
- Develop intuitive software development kits, command-line tools, and project templates that streamline model development, evaluation, and deployment with minimal repetitive code.
- Design, implement, and scale a low-latency system for serving machine learning models in real-time environments.
- Enhance batch inference capabilities by optimizing job scheduling, parallel execution, cost monitoring, failure recovery, and operational visibility.
- Lead the development and maintenance of a unified feature store with consistent definitions and high-performance access for both training and serving workflows.
- Ensure platform stability through comprehensive monitoring of performance, accuracy, data quality, and cost; establish alerts, dashboards, and incident resolution protocols.
- Partner with data science teams to support underwriting systems by refining model integration patterns, defining service level agreements, and implementing safety and validation mechanisms.
