About the Role
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement key functionality in our core product suite, ensuring robust, maintainable code and driving technical excellence across the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems that power central product features
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Own end-to-end development of complex features from concept to deployment
- Optimize application performance and reliability across platforms
- Conduct code reviews and uphold high standards for software quality
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for potential adoption
- Ensure code maintainability through testing and documentation
- Work closely with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Support the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures
- Implement security best practices across the codebase
- Participate in architectural discussions and system design
- Drive automation in build, test, and deployment pipelines
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts as needed
- Improve developer tooling and internal workflows
- Integrate third-party services and APIs securely
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Contribute to accessibility and internationalization efforts
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging standards
- Support on-call rotations for critical systems
- Refactor code to improve readability and reduce technical debt
- Collaborate on API design and versioning strategies
- Assist in defining engineering KPIs and success metrics
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in audio or speech processing technologies
- Background in building developer-facing tools or platforms
- Contributions to open-source software projects
- Experience with real-time data processing systems
