Cyberhaven is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Browser Extension) to build and enhance a critical component for our Data Loss Prevention and GenAI Security product. You will ensure the extension is secure, performant, and deeply integrated with our core platform.
What You'll Do
- Ship multiple features in the browser extension that improve visibility and security for customers.
- Implement robust automated end-to-end test coverage for critical workflows using Playwright.
- Establish strong collaboration with endpoint and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and consistent functionality.
- Contribute to improving performance and reliability across different browsers and environments.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong focus on JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven ability to build complex, performant logic in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience writing end-to-end automated tests using Playwright or similar tools.
Nice to Have
- Browser extension experience or familiarity with browser extension APIs (Chrome Extensions, Manifest V3).
- Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with security tools or SaaS products.
- Knowledge of Go (Golang) for backend integration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
