We're building smarter systems to reduce the complexity of healthcare finance, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to help lead the way. In this fully remote role, you'll play a central part in designing, deploying, and maintaining AI-driven features that integrate directly into core product workflows. Your work will directly influence how users interact with critical healthcare data.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain customer-facing features powered by artificial intelligence, ensuring they are reliable, observable, and cost-effective
- Design internal services that support reusable, scalable interfaces across engineering teams
- Guide AI initiatives from concept to production, including fallback mechanisms and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with product teams to assess when AI solutions add value versus alternative approaches
- Proactively communicate progress, dependencies, and technical trade-offs across teams
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of hands-on experience developing production systems in Python
- Proven track record of delivering complex software with real-world user impact
- Experience working with modern AI and machine learning frameworks
- A self-starter mindset, with the ability to adapt priorities based on evolving business goals
- Strong communication skills and experience thriving in distributed, remote teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and product functions
Knowledge of additional backend programming languages is a plus, but not required. We value practical problem-solving and thoughtful architecture over specific tooling.
