LivePerson is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team building the core services that power our global conversational platform. In this role, you will use your deep Java expertise to design and deliver high-impact features, enhance system stability at our massive scale, and drive continuous technical excellence.

What You'll Do

Design and deliver high-impact core services that power LivePerson’s conversational platform.
Use expert Java knowledge to build new features, maintain platform stability at scale, and continuously increase technical excellence.
Produce high-quality, well-tested code.
Take full operational responsibility for the services you own, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and stakeholders to shape product direction and groom features.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience working with Java.
Experience with large-scale distributed microservices architecture.
Some working knowledge with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, On-Premise Datacenters).
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with globally distributed teams.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of JavaScript.
