Acuity Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an Agile squad responsible for the world’s leading internet-connected lighting and sensing systems. You will be instrumental in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of innovative IoT solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop system designs, specifications, and code for new features connecting cloud and mobile components.
- Participate in software design decisions to create new IoT lighting solutions and customer experiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, JavaScript, and React.
- Lead, coach, and monitor other developers, providing guidance as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Squad leads, QA engineers, and developers to ensure shared understanding and meet business expectations.
- Participate in peer code reviews and help promote Agile values like collaboration and delivering value.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing requirements or priorities.
- Manage and address technical debt to ensure long-term product quality.
- Adhere to coding standards, version control, and development methodologies aligned with Agile principles.
