Decathlon Digital FR is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Observability team within our Data Factory. You will create and optimize the data cockpit platform, providing data discoverability and observability (maturity, usage, lineage) across Decathlon, while providing technical leadership on the platform's backend and frontend development.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical leadership on the data cockpit's backend and frontend stack.
- Participate in implementing automated Data Governance through data contracts and the data cockpit.
- Proactively analyze functional needs and understand the daily life of users and their stakeholders.
- Act as an expert to guide data teams in the correct and effective use of our observability products.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our working methods (mob programming, TDD, robust documentation).
- Implement monitoring and automation solutions to significantly reduce manual workload and improve team efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in reactive programming.
- Significant experience in end-to-end design and implementation of micro-service solutions.
- Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools.
- Deep knowledge of version control systems and continuous integration (Git/Github).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with a strong service mindset and user-centered, product-oriented approach.
- Thrive in an agile and collaborative work environment (mob programming, code reviews).
- Mastery of English to easily interact with international teams and partners.

You will join a team of 1 Product Manager and 4 Data Engineers as part of the Data Observability team within the Data Factory platform.
