Clarivate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the CDI/Summon team within our Exlibris Research and Discovery Solutions division. In this full-stack development role, you will design and implement technical solutions based on business requirements, while handling bug fixes, performance optimization, and long-term maintenance tasks as part of a global team.
What You'll Do
- Understand requirements defined by business analysts.
- Design and implement technical solutions.
- Facilitate testing and rollout of features.
- Perform bug fixes, performance, stability, and long-term maintenance tasks.
- Communicate with other teams, product owners, and support analysts.
- Work in a self-organizing team from remote positions as part of a global team, requiring flexibility in hours to accommodate different time zones.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience developing in front-end frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, and VueJS.
- 2+ years of experience developing in Java.
- 2+ years of experience developing in Typescript/JavaScript.
- 2+ years of experience developing in Python.
- 2+ years of Object-Oriented development.
- High level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience developing in Ruby.
- Knowledge and experience with databases (i.e., Cassandra), search engines (Solr).
