PointClickCare is seeking a Senior Software Architect to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for our software development initiatives. You will be responsible for designing robust, scalable architectures that meet the complex needs of the healthcare sector.
What You'll Do
- Define and evangelize long-term architectural vision and technology strategy
- Lead the design of high-level software structures and system integrations
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Create architectural documentation, diagrams, and guidelines
- Mentor development teams on best practices and design patterns
- Conduct technical reviews to ensure designs align with business goals and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar leadership role
- Deep expertise in designing and delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade software systems
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and cloud-native principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Work Mode
This position is a hybrid role, requiring you to be based in the Mississauga, Ontario area for scheduled in-office collaboration.
