Lead the administration and optimization of a critical ServiceNow platform supporting federal endpoint operations. In this role, you'll take ownership of system configuration, performance monitoring, and compliance, ensuring the environment runs efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of ServiceNow platform operations, including upgrades, patching, and health monitoring
- Supervise user access controls, role structures, and group configurations to maintain secure, compliant environments
- Guide and mentor junior administrators, fostering technical growth and consistent practices
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs and incident response runbooks
- Support change control processes for system modifications and enhancements
- Ensure alignment with federal security requirements and audit readiness
- Collaborate with architects and development teams on governance and configuration standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field; or 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 10 years of IT systems experience, with at least 4 years focused on ServiceNow administration
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential required
- Proven experience mentoring or leading junior technical staff
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management principles
- Ability to obtain and retain public trust clearance
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Experience supporting federal government clients preferred
Work Environment
Remote position within the United States, with expectation to support Eastern Time business hours. This role supports a federal contract requiring adherence to strict compliance and security protocols.
