What You'll Do
Take ownership of designing and building ServiceNow applications and modules that align with business objectives. You'll ensure all solutions meet high standards for performance, security, and scalability throughout the contract duration.
Partner with business analysts, project leads, and technical teams to gather requirements and turn them into functional, maintainable implementations on the ServiceNow platform. Your work will stay within established timelines and project boundaries.
Customize platform components including workflows, forms, and scripts to improve functionality and usability. You'll also develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to support automated processes and reliable data exchange.
Produce clear technical documentation covering design decisions, deployment steps, and system usage. You'll also troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to configuration, performance, and integration stability.
Keep current with evolving ServiceNow capabilities and best practices, applying relevant updates and improvements to ongoing development efforts within the project schedule.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- At least five years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a history of delivering projects on a contractual basis
- Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end and server-side scripting
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules and platform architecture
- Required to work on-site three days per week, with a hybrid arrangement for the remainder
Preferred Qualifications
- Holding the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential is strongly preferred
