What You'll Do
Design and implement novel approaches for gathering and interpreting security-related data to power new and evolving product features. You’ll analyze internal and external datasets to evaluate accuracy, reliability, and utility, ensuring high-quality inputs for risk modeling.
Investigate the viability of inferring security attributes through experimental techniques and statistical analysis. Translate findings into practical enhancements by working closely with product and engineering teams to define data processing requirements.
Act as a technical bridge with external data partners, supporting collaboration and integration efforts. Contribute to marketing and customer-facing initiatives by communicating research outcomes through clear, compelling narratives and presentations.
Requirements
Demonstrate deep knowledge of networking, information security, and cryptographic principles. You should be skilled in scripting languages and capable of building prototypes for data acquisition, processing, and analysis.
Exhibit strong analytical reasoning and communication abilities, with a proven ability to navigate uncertain or complex problems. Experience conducting hypothesis-driven experiments and presenting security data insights is essential.
Work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams, showing initiative and sound judgment in research direction and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with or interest in distributed computing frameworks such as PySpark, EMR, or Hadoop is a plus, particularly as it applies to large-scale data processing in security contexts.
