Canva is looking for a Senior Security Engineer - Threat Intelligence to join our Security Group. You'll be part of the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team, analyzing threats and building intelligence infrastructure to protect our platform and users across Australia and New Zealand.
What You'll Do
- Analyze incoming threat signals to produce actionable intelligence products for a variety of stakeholders.
- Maintain intelligence infrastructure and automation workflows to support intelligence collection, analysis, and integration with multiple teams and systems.
- Conduct independent research on emerging threats and maintain a curated library of adversaries, TTPs, malware and campaigns applicable to Canva.
- Identify and communicate threat landscape trends to drive strategic security initiatives.
- Work closely with Detection & Response during incident investigations, threat hunts and detection development.
- Work closely with Red Team to co-design credible stealth operations and purple team exercises.
What We're Looking For
- A strong security operations background.
- At least 3-5 years hands-on experience in areas like threat intelligence, incident response, or threat hunting.
- In-depth knowledge of threat intelligence best practices with demonstrated, hands-on experience in intelligence analysis and production.
- Practical engineering skills with proven experience maintaining threat intelligence platforms and automation infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to varying technical depths and formats.
- A curious detective mindset, driven to solve complex problems with simple solutions.

Work Mode
This role can be performed remotely across ANZ, with hybrid options available in Sydney (flagship campus), Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
