Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments
- Implement and manage identity and access controls
- Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity
- Respond to security incidents with timely investigation and remediation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support cloud infrastructure security across multiple environments
- Evaluate third-party security risks and vendor controls
- Lead security awareness and training initiatives
- Design secure network architectures
- Troubleshoot security tools and platform integrations
- Manage encryption and key management systems
- Assist in forensic investigations when needed
- Stay current with emerging threats and security trends
- Document security configurations and control implementations
- Optimize security monitoring and alerting systems
- Support audit and compliance reporting requirements
- Drive automation of security validation processes
- Work closely with IT and operations teams on security integration
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Evaluate and deploy new security technologies
- Ensure secure configuration of operating systems and applications
- Promote a culture of security across the organization
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in cybersecurity or a related technical field
- Experience securing SaaS platforms at scale

- Knowledge of container security and orchestration platforms

- Familiarity with zero trust architecture principles
- Active CISSP or other advanced security certifications
- Contributions to open-source security tools or communities
- Public speaking or conference presentation experience
- Prior work in globally distributed technology teams
