About the Role
The role involves leading SAP Enterprise Asset Management projects, delivering tailored solutions that improve asset performance and operational efficiency. The consultant will work directly with clients to configure systems, optimize processes, and ensure successful adoption of SAP EAM functionality.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP EAM implementations from design to go-live
- Collaborate with clients to understand asset management business processes
- Configure SAP EAM modules including maintenance, inspection, and repair
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance support
- Provide expertise in integration with SAP PM and MM modules
- Support data migration and master data setup
- Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Lead workshops to gather functional requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during implementation
- Assist in defining system landscapes and technical architecture
- Work closely with technical teams on custom development needs
- Document configuration decisions and solution designs
- Support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution
- Mentor junior consultants on project teams
- Participate in blueprinting and solution design phases
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements
- Assist in preparing functional specifications
- Coordinate with external vendors and stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP EAM enhancements
- Deliver presentations to client leadership teams
- Ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities
- Support integration with mobile and IoT technologies
- Contribute to internal practice development initiatives
