As a Senior SAP Business Intelligence Technical Lead, you will take ownership of designing and refining enterprise-grade BI solutions built on SAP platforms. Your work will directly impact how data is structured, delivered, and utilized across the organization, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with long-term IT goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end SAP BI solutions using SAP BW on HANA, Datasphere, and related technologies
- Translate business requirements into robust technical designs through close collaboration with stakeholders
- Assess current BI systems and recommend optimizations for efficiency, reliability, and future readiness
- Guide project timelines and technical priorities across BI projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Support continuous improvement of BI platforms, focusing on stability, security, and performance
- Mentor team members by sharing expertise in SAP ABAP, SQL, and data modeling practices
- Partner with cross-functional IT teams to integrate BI solutions within broader enterprise architecture
- Explore and apply emerging capabilities such as AI-driven analytics, automation, and prompt engineering in data workflows
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least eight years of experience in SAP BI or data platform environments. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Proficiency in SAP BW on HANA, SAP Datasphere, ABAP, SQL, Business Objects, and Power BI is essential. Familiarity with ERP ecosystems and distributed systems architecture is expected, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead technical direction independently.
Experience with AI applications or automation in data contexts is a plus and may enhance project contributions.
