About the Role
Senior Sales Engineer responsible for providing technical leadership during pre-sales engagements, driving solution design, and supporting enterprise customers through data and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical contact during sales discussions involving data, analytics, and artificial intelligence use cases
- Partner with sales teams to identify customer needs and support lead generation activities
- Apply technical knowledge of Snowflake and related technologies to assess project scope and gather requirements
- Lead customer-facing workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and executive-level presentations to align on business goals and technical approaches
- Work closely with regional sales and partner teams, including cloud providers and Snowflake, to support go-to-market strategies and joint engagements
- Attend in-person meetings, roadshows, and industry events to support deal progression and strengthen client relationships
- Bridge communication between customers and internal technical teams to ensure accurate understanding of client requirements
- Deliver pre-sales technical support through product demonstrations, technical talks, RFP responses, estimations, and customer inquiries
- Develop proposals, cost estimates, and other pre-sales documentation
- Independently collaborate with sales representatives to interact with prospects and document solution scope and requirements
- Coordinate with account and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continued value delivery
- Design and manage customer solution roadmaps that expand use cases and support long-term growth
Requirements
- Solid technical foundation with demonstrated expertise in Snowflake and related data technologies
- Strong communication abilities to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with customers and internal teams
- Prior experience leading direct engagements with enterprise customers, including in-person workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions
- Ability to present and communicate confidently with CxO-level and business decision-makers during face-to-face meetings
- Willingness to travel regionally between 10% and 30% for client meetings, workshops, and industry events
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in solution engineering or pre-sales technical roles
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and keep pace with evolving industry trends
