About the Role

Infinite Lambda is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to play a pivotal leadership role in bridging sales and engineering for our data and AI consultancy. You will drive growth by shaping sales strategies, engaging clients, and expanding our presence into new markets, with a particular focus on South America and the US.

What You'll Do

  • Initiate and manage engagements with prospective clients from the early stages of the sales process.
  • Understand, document, and articulate how our products and services address client needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling, client-aligned proposals.
  • Conduct and facilitate technical deep-dive workshops to showcase capabilities.
  • Identify and strategically position relevant products and services.
  • Assist in estimating project scope, effort, and resources to produce realistic account strategies.
  • Work with Product & Services, Customer Success, and Sales teams to define roles and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Product & Services to stay informed about offerings and influence product roadmaps.
  • Enhance the positioning of products and services to improve value communication during sales.
  • Liaise with senior leadership to formulate a holistic value proposition combining data and cloud expertise.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and work with leadership to evolve strategies.
  • Deepen subject-matter knowledge in key industry verticals.
  • Partner with the executive team to identify and establish delivery hubs in South America.
  • Work with the executive team to help steer the company’s overall strategy.
  • Represent Infinite Lambda at external conferences and events to promote brand and thought leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in sales engineering or technical sales, preferably within data, cloud, or technology sectors.
  • Significant leadership experience.
  • Technical expertise in data engineering, analytics engineering, and data scientist roles.
  • Experience with related technologies: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, dbt, and machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience with data architecture: stream processing, batch data warehouse processing, event-driven architecture, microservices, DataOps, and MLOps practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business benefits.
  • Experience in leading sales engineering teams or functions, with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong ability to work effectively across different departments and levels, fostering collaboration.

  • An advanced degree.
  • Experience in international markets or expanding into new regions.
  • Knowledge of South American markets and business practices.
