Forum Ventures is looking for a Founder, Data Observability for CAT Models to build a new company from the ground up. You will develop a data observability platform specifically for the catastrophe (CAT) models that underpin Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), providing real-time anomaly detection, audit trails, and compliance tools for insurers, reinsurers, and fund managers.

What You'll Do

  • Build a data observability platform for catastrophe (CAT) models.
  • Execute a winning GTM strategy to get to $50–100K ARR.
  • Build the right MVP to ensure early traction.

What We're Looking For

  • Domain expertise in insurance, reinsurance, or catastrophe risk modeling.
  • Proven track record of building products in regulated or capital markets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical and operational challenges.
  • A collaborative approach, with the capability to build partnerships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A demonstrated passion for technology’s ability to change the world.
  • A desire to be a venture-backed founder.
  • Ability to collaborate in North American time zones.
