Responsibilities
- Create robust and scalable backend systems that support a high-traffic e-commerce platform
- Develop and sustain APIs serving web, mobile, and external partner integrations
- Design system architecture for core functions including user membership, product catalog, checkout flow, order processing, and payment handling
- Work closely with product, design, and data teams to build user-focused features
- Lead backend services through full lifecycle ownership, from initial design to deployment and ongoing monitoring
- Promote strong engineering standards in code quality, automated testing, system reliability, and monitoring practices
- Shape long-term backend architecture and guide key technical choices during growth phases
- Support junior developers through mentorship and help maintain a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture
