G4S is hiring a Senior RF+Electronics Design Engineer to drive the design, development, testing, and approvals of short-range RF embedded devices. You will be instrumental in advancing both the existing portfolio and the future product roadmap, while also researching new technologies and providing expertise on all RF matters.

What You'll Do

Contribute to the RF design and development of embedded hardware for offender monitoring equipment.
Work within the embedded development team to identify areas of concern in the design process.
Evaluate and analyze third-party software designed to enhance embedded systems development.
Support efforts to ensure new products quickly reach the market.
Develop new IP and follow documentation processes to ensure its protection.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of technology sectors relevant to current and future products.
Ensure all designs are fully documented and archived.
Help ensure all designs are type-approved and meet all defined functionality and performance specifications.
Provide technical support to operations and production teams for manufacturing, testing, and maintenance.
Provide frequent updates on task progress with estimates of time elapsed and engineering effort.

What We're Looking For

Excellent electronic and hardware design skills.
At least 5 years’ experience in low-power, microcontroller-driven wireless systems.
Fundamental firmware knowledge.
Significant Altium product knowledge.
Significant RF knowledge applied in commercial designs.
Knowledge of RF simulation tools.
