Bragi is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to shape the future of audio. In this role, you will focus on prototyping, integration, and development for customer audio projects on Qualcomm platforms. You will be instrumental in configuring hardware and software, performing measurements, and developing tests to verify software integrity.
What You'll Do
- Prototype, integrate, and develop drivers and components in embedded C for customer audio projects like TWS earbuds, headsets, and speakers.
- Work primarily on Qualcomm platforms, specifically the new S7 platform.
- Perform hardware and software configurations and measurements during prototyping and pre-production phases.
- Develop unit and integration tests to verify software integrity using analysis tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as an Embedded Engineer.
- Strong C coding skills for embedded systems.
- Experience with one or more Qualcomm Bluetooth SoCs: QCC51**, QCC309*, or QCC71**.
- Experience in designing, developing, and debugging low-level software on embedded targets.
- Familiarity with performing SDK (ADK) updates.
- Knowledge of common peripheral interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C, and USB.
- Experience reading sensor datasheets and implementing drivers.
- Willingness to work in dynamic agile teams using Scrum or KanBan workflows.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with QCC S7 or S5 platforms.
- Experience with Bluetooth or other wireless communications protocols.
- Experience developing for battery-driven, memory and power-constrained devices.
- Prior experience collaborating with mobile developers.
- Hardware familiarity with tools like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power measurement equipment.
- Experience with production processes and support.
- Experience with STM devices.
- Experience with charging topologies.
