Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of precise, high-quality regulatory filings for biologicals, biostimulants, and traditional products to Canadian authorities.
- Design and implement regulatory strategies for active ingredients and formulations in Canada, covering data needs from early research through market launch.
- Identify potential regulatory risks and timeline challenges to support informed business planning and decision-making.
- Ensure timely approval for new products and uses in Canada with labels designed to meet grower requirements while safeguarding human health and ecosystems.
- Collaborate with scientific, stewardship, and product teams to create and maintain compliant regulatory labels and uphold market authorization.
- Sustain current product registrations by managing re-evaluations, special reviews, label updates, and lifecycle strategies such as new crop approvals and expanded uses.
- Foster strong relationships with Canadian regulatory agencies and industry groups to promote favorable regulatory decisions.
- Oversee project schedules and key milestones, align team priorities, coordinate cross-functionally, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Work closely with R&D and commercial units to embed regulatory considerations into product development and business planning.
