Role OverviewAs a Senior R&D Product Development Engineer specializing in Signal Integrity, you will lead the electrical design, simulation, and performance validation of high-speed interconnect solutions. These products are critical to datacenter and wireless infrastructure applications, where signal performance at scale is essential. You will act as the primary technical authority throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to production—ensuring signal integrity requirements are met and sustained.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for signal integrity across all phases of product development, including design, simulation, and experimental validation
- Define electrical performance criteria for new connector and cable systems based on industry standards and application requirements
- Conduct simulations for multiple high-speed protocols, selecting appropriate methodologies and interpreting results to guide design decisions
- Review PCB schematics and layout designs to ensure compliance with signal integrity best practices
- Translate simulation and test data into clear, actionable recommendations for design improvements
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and component engineering teams to guide product qualification and optimization
- Make evidence-based assessments to support product functionality, reliability, and performance enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in electrical, RF, or PCB design with a focus on high-speed systems
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, or CST
- Solid foundation in electromagnetic theory and circuit behavior at high frequencies
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate both simulated and lab-measured data and diagnose performance issues
- Working knowledge of PCB design, fabrication processes, and assembly techniques
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to support collaboration with global teams and customers
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a distributed, global work environment with cross-regional teams
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Technical Environment
Work will involve regular use of industry-standard signal integrity tools including Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, and CST for modeling and analysis.
Work Model
This role supports remote work and is part of a global engineering team. Collaboration will span multiple time zones, requiring flexibility and strong communication practices.
