Riot Games is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality efforts for Wild Rift’s platform releases. You'll shape how Riot handles platform certification, compliance reviews, and release readiness, owning the QA strategy that ensures players get a seamless experience.
What You'll Do
- Own the release QA process from submission readiness to first-party certification and launch test.
- Drive the implementation of compliance testing (Age Rating, EULA, regional compliance) with the partner FQA team.
- Define best practices for platform testing, compliance, and regression across builds.
- Partner with product teams to align test plans to platform certification requirements and live player needs.
- Act as the QA expert on first-party platforms (App Store, Google Play, console), including submission processes.
- Establish and track release quality metrics, driving data-informed decisions with partners.
- Lead and mentor other QA engineers, including reviewing test suites and monitoring execution.
- Coordinate external testing vendors to ensure their output meets Riot's quality bar.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance assets and build delivery pipelines for smooth QA testing.
- Represent the voice of the player in product readiness conversations and propose improvements.
- Bring visibility and transparency to senior leadership on QA quality metrics and product readiness for each release.
- Communicate quality risks clearly and influence prioritization with production and engineering partners.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in software or game QA, with multiple product launches in live environments.
- Experience with platform compliance and certification submissions.
- Ability to monitor post-launch metrics like Crash Rate, ANR, and Update Failure Rate to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with domestic game publishing policies and international platform (Apple/Google) submission guidelines.
- Deep involvement in automating game packaging, incremental resource updates, and build generation.
- Deep understanding of game hot-update mechanisms and their associated risks.
- Strong ability to coach junior QA teammates and influence across teams.
- Comfort with owning vendor relationships and delivering through external partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Experience in mobile automated build pipelines is highly preferred.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.

- QA experience across multiple platforms (mobile, console, PC).
- Exposure to age rating, first-party submissions, and regional compliances.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST) certification.
- ISTQB Expert Level certification.
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification.
- ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT) certification.
