Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is looking for a Quality Engineer Network Monitoring to join a dynamically growing area. You will support the team by filling knowledge gaps in technical implementation, analysis, and support within a Cisco ThousandEyes environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the team in a dynamically growing monitoring area, especially within the Cisco ThousandEyes technology environment.
- Use your network knowledge to fill current team members' knowledge gaps in technical implementation, analysis, or support.
- Analyze monitoring data and create reports based on them.
- Communicate technical information clearly and understandably to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in network monitoring.
- At least 1 year of experience implementing, configuring, and automating monitoring solutions.
- Confident knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS.
- Experience in monitoring network architectures and endpoints.
- Comprehensive understanding of network monitoring concepts and best practices.
- Recognition of typical network and performance problems, such as the difference between MPLS, SD-WAN, and Dark Fiber.
- English language skills at minimum B2 level.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge or experience in using Cisco ThousandEyes.
- English language skills at C1 level.
- Experience in analyzing monitoring data and creating reports.
- Recognition and interpretation of network problems.
- Certifications in network monitoring or cloud technologies.
