Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable server-side applications in Python
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly
- Optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Document technical designs and implementation details
- Work with database engineers to refine data models
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services
- Ensure code complies with security best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions for new features
- Maintain existing codebases while refactoring for efficiency
- Assist in defining engineering standards and best practices
- Respond to on-call incidents when required
- Collaborate with product managers to clarify requirements
- Estimate effort for development tasks and sprints
- Stay current with evolving technology and frameworks
- Improve observability through logging and monitoring tools
