The Government Resource Center at The Ohio State University seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead health policy research and evaluation initiatives. You will be responsible for managing complex projects from conception through to final reporting, ensuring they meet research objectives and sponsor expectations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage diverse research and evaluation projects using survey, qualitative, and mixed methods.
- Coordinate the research and administrative efforts of project team members.
- Manage relationships with project sponsors and external partners.
- Write technical reports and stakeholder communications.
- Provide subject matter expertise on health policy projects.
- Conduct project development, including grant and proposal writing.
- Perform research tasks such as literature reviews and facilitating qualitative interviews.
- Design and test survey and interview instruments.
- Conduct basic data analysis using Excel, including creating charts and calculating descriptive statistics.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or two years with a master's degree.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen, if requested.
Nice to Have
- Training or experience in evaluation methodology, including survey design or a mixed methods approach.
- Current residency in the State of Ohio or willingness to relocate upon employment.
