JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a strategic program manager who can navigate complex organizational landscapes. This role demands someone who can successfully define, implement, and deliver intricate programs requiring cross-functional collaboration. You'll manage interconnected projects with moderate risk factors, coordinating teams of employees and contractors to achieve targeted outcomes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with leadership to assemble project teams that can produce critical deliverables for corporate programs. Guide project managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive strategic plans.
  • Organize and direct cross-functional activities, strategically focusing corporate resources to ensure successful program implementation and delivery.
  • Collaborate directly with executive sponsors (VP level and above) to deeply understand and achieve specific business objectives for assigned initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate progress across project groups, tracking financial health and alignment. Direct corrective actions as needed and report program status to executive steering committees.
  • Proactively identify potential risks that could derail program success, developing robust mitigation strategies and implementation plans.
  • When necessary, work with procurement to develop and execute service and asset contract strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure contractual responsibilities are fully met.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by leadership.

  • High School / GED

  • 10 years in Project Management
  • 10 years of delivering business solution using information technology

Pay Range Minimum:

$92,300.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$172,500.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
