Overview:
We're looking for a savvy Business Banking Relationship Manager who can build, nurture, and grow a robust portfolio of small business client connections. Your mission: drive new business, make smart credit decisions, and provide top-notch service through our relationship management program. You'll collaborate closely with branch teams to unlock sales potential and expand our banking footprint.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hunt down and cultivate fresh banking relationships with promising business prospects.
- Keep our existing business banking clients super satisfied.
- Hit and exceed performance goals set by your manager.
- Partner with branch colleagues to maximize business customer sales and strategically cross-sell our suite of banking products.
- Build a network of key influencers – think accountants, attorneys, and other strategic referral sources.
- Manage our most complex and high-stakes loan relationships.
- Analyze credit information, assess requests, and recommend loan structures that smartly balance opportunity and risk.
- Skillfully negotiate with underwriters and clients to optimize revenue while maintaining rock-solid risk management.
- Crush these sales goals:
- Revenue of $300M to $500M.
- Loan production of $7.5MM to $12MM.
- Deposit balance production of $750M to $2.5MM.
- Manage loan portfolio of $15MM to $40MM.
- Oversee approximately 30 to 65 relationship managed clients.
- Fully engage in all business banking and retail sales sprints.
- Meet call targets and nail product sales goals for cash management, visa merchant, and other assigned offerings.
- Get involved in local civic and cultural organizations.
- Apply our proven selling techniques to maximize every sales opportunity.
Scope of Responsibilities:
You'll be a sales powerhouse, converting prospects into clients and keeping existing relationships rock-solid.
Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service. Operates with balanced autonomy.
Supervisory/ Managerial Responsibilities:
Potential for supervisory or mentoring roles, depending on performance and team needs.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in department-specific software
Expert at reading and dissecting financial statements and tax returns.
Exceptional credit analysis skills for evaluating loan requests.
Deep understanding of Cash Management, Merchant Service, and Trade Services products, with a keen eye for sales opportunities.
Killer interpersonal and presentation skills a must.
