About the Role
The Senior Product Manager will own the strategic direction and execution of the Salesforce platform product line, working across engineering, design, and customer success to deliver value-driven features and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy for the Salesforce platform
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define roadmap priorities
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to guide product decisions
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Work closely with UX designers to improve user workflows
- Monitor key product metrics and adjust plans based on data
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across departments
- Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements
- Maintain deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem capabilities
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
- Manage product backlog and prioritize feature development
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning
- Support go-to-market planning for new releases
- Communicate product updates to internal stakeholders
- Drive adoption of new features among user base
- Evaluate third-party integrations for platform compatibility
- Participate in customer-facing discussions when needed
- Ensure compliance with platform security standards
- Document product requirements and decision rationale
- Facilitate sprint planning and review sessions
- Balance technical debt with feature delivery
- Advocate for user-centric design principles
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates
- Escalate risks and dependencies proactively
- Contribute to long-term product vision
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certification (e.g., Administrator, Developer)
- Experience in software configuration management tools
- Background in enterprise application development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Salesforce contexts
- Knowledge of metadata management in Salesforce
