About the Role

Raptor Technologies is hiring a Senior Product Manager – Safety Training & Compliance to own a core suite of products that help K–12 schools train staff, meet safety and compliance requirements, and reduce administrative burdens. You will lead the vision, strategy, and execution, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term portfolio evolution while partnering closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer, business, and market needs and align with the portfolio vision.
  • Develop and own the product strategy to increase customer adoption and drive new sales.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to analyze market trends and competitive forces.
  • Work directly with customers to validate product direction and ideas.
  • Interface with client services and professional services teams to improve implementation time and customer experience.
  • Evaluate strategic needs to inform sprint planning and roadmap prioritization.
  • Utilize Agile best practices to collaborate with engineering and design on requirement definition.
  • Apply product discovery techniques and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver on realistic, aggressive delivery timelines.
  • Provide overall product leadership to resolve impediments across the product life cycle.
  • Manage the product life cycle from conception through release, go-to-market, and beyond.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for short-term, mid-term, and long-term horizons.
  • Maintain a high degree of communication across technology, development, support, implementations, sales, and marketing.
  • Develop, present, and execute product plans, partnering strategies, positioning, and competitive analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for your product, giving presentations and demonstrations.
  • Travel as needed to attend conferences, assist sales, and for speaking engagements.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 10 years of Software Product Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or commensurate experience).
  • Strong experience in SaaS and cloud-based products.
  • Strong agile SDLC experience (with use of JIRA, Atlassian, Confluence).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively present and interact with all levels up to executive-level management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
  • Enjoy working in highly active and collaborative cross-functional agile product team environment.
  • Understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Highly responsive and participates proactively and constantly in team activities.
  • Strong ownership of your product and ability to lead through peer collaboration and influence.
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize information and convert it into actionable plans and business cases.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in K12 is strongly preferred.
  • Mobile ecosystem experience a plus.
