Raft is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own and evolve our design system. You will lead its development, maintain high standards of craft, and champion its adoption to ensure a consistent and accessible user experience across our product suite.

What You'll Do

Lead the evolution of the design system by researching and driving improvements.
Support the needs of fellow designers and the internal front-end engineering team.
Maintain a high standard of craft, creating accessible and visually stunning solutions suitable for a B2B environment.
Work on component libraries, including semantic tokens, scalable components, and clear specifications.
Drive consistency by overseeing global patterns and layouts across our product suite.
Advocate for the design system by educating internal teams on its benefits and proper use.
Help shape our design culture through collaboration, mentorship, and a focus on shipping great work.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience working on B2B SaaS platforms, especially those with high data density and complex visual hierarchy.
Prior experience creating and maintaining design systems, with deep knowledge of tokens and components.
A solid understanding of how design systems are developed and a readiness to collaborate closely with engineers.
A strong focus on craft and a drive to raise the bar for design quality.
Deep expertise in design systems and visual design, balanced with an understanding of the bigger product picture.
Willingness to jump into end-to-end feature design when needed, making decisions with context in mind.
Clear and confident communication skills, especially when collaborating with engineers or presenting to stakeholders.
A self-starter who enjoys working independently, taking initiative, and owning their work.
A desire to join a team that balances high standards with low ego.

You’ll be joining a small but mighty team that is part of the broader Raft product and design organization. We are a supportive and truly diverse group, currently 9 people from 7 different countries with a female-to-male ratio of 5:4.
