Planera is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own design end-to-end, shaping products that redefine how General Contractors and their teams collaborate to build construction schedules. What You'll Do
- Drive best-in-class product design to redefine the construction scheduling industry.
- Conduct user interviews and research to uncover insights that drive impactful product updates.
- Own end-to-end design efforts: take concepts and ideas and turn them into polished customer-facing products.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
- Participate in product roadmap planning and team goal setting.
- Improve and implement a design process focused on high quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to improving our Design System.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience creating best-in-class product design for SaaS applications.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing the breadth of your experience and the metrics your projects affected.
- Ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
- Proven track record as a designer who can own solving complex user problems.
- Ability to design within an iterative process while collaborating with product managers and engineers to achieve a vision.
- Ability to think about product as a system, driving different features to work holistically toward a goal.
- Take pride in creating and maintaining excellent design standards, as well as championing design best practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills.
- Excited about teaching, learning, and working collaboratively across teams.
- Have a strong point of view and like to voice your opinions, but are eager to change them based on data.
- Proven track record working on remote teams.
