The Senior Product Analyst - Experimentation will lead and scale rigorous, high-impact product experimentation at Back Market. This role focuses on establishing statistical and methodological rigor, enabling product teams to run autonomous experiments, and aligning experimentation with company strategy.
What You'll Do
- Help raise & enforce experimentation standards
- Support Product Managers in becoming autonomous within a clear framework
- Contribute to building and maintaining scalable workflows and governance
- Ensure statistical and methodological rigor
- Provide frameworks for proper test design (power, segmentation, guardrails, validity)
- Help validate experiment setup before launch, without being a bottleneck
- Review results to ensure sound statistical interpretation and learning
- Promote best practices (AA tests, bias detection, metric consistency) to empower teams to run experiments confidently on their own
- Contribute to defining experimentation workflows (from ideation to readout)
- Provide guardrails that allow safe self-service experimentation
- Help formalize ownership, decision frameworks and review processes
- Standardize templates for hypothesis, test plans and readouts
- Ensure consistency of KPIs across teams and countries
- Support the evolution of our experimentation platform usage
- Train and coach Product Managers on hypothesis formulation
- Train and coach Product Managers on basic statistical concepts
- Train and coach Product Managers on interpreting experiment results
- Reduce dependency on analysts for routine experiment execution
- Contribute to prioritization by sizing opportunities
- Identify experimentation opportunities with high business impact
- Ensure experiments are aligned with product and company strategy
- Act as a reference point on experimentation topics within the Product Analytics team
What We're Looking For
- 4–8+ years scaling Product Analytics and Experimentation
- Strong hands-on experience running A/B tests at scale
- Experience structuring experimentation processes across multiple teams
- Comfortable working in cross-functional product environments
- Strong statistical foundations (experimental design, inference, bias, power analysis)
- Advanced SQL
- Experience with experimentation platforms (Amplitude, Statsig, Eppo, Optimizely, …)
- Strong understanding of tracking & data warehouse environments (e.g. BigQuery)
- Experience with product analytics tools
