Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business objectives and testing requirements
- Collaboratively estimate and plan tasks to ensure reliable and predictable delivery timelines
- Analyze specifications, design technical solutions, and implement high-impact features
- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of features across staging and production environments
- Take ownership of incidents during on-call periods, prioritizing fast and effective resolution
- Enforce adherence to coding standards and comprehensive testing practices
- Decompose complex initiatives into smaller, actionable tasks to improve delivery efficiency
- Perform code reviews, verify test coverage, and uphold thorough documentation practices
- Stay current with evolving tools, libraries, and secure coding techniques including OWASP guidelines
- Break down large-scale projects and design robust, scalable APIs and backend systems
- Guide team members in adopting test-driven development, behavior-driven development, domain-driven design, and other best practices
- Proactively identify potential risks, advocate for automation, and suggest improvements to workflows
- Promote clean, modular, and maintainable software architecture across the codebase
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with PHP
- At least 1 year of hands-on Symfony framework experience on a shipped project
- 1.5+ years of experience using PHPUnit for automated testing
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience with MongoDB
- Familiarity with Docker containerization
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Proficiency with jQuery
- Experience using React for frontend components
- Strong understanding of API design and integration
- Hands-on experience with NodeJS
- Proficiency in TypeScript
