In this role, you'll work at the intersection of innovation and execution—rapidly testing ideas, refining prototypes, and delivering features that expand what's possible in a trillion-dollar industry.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop backend services that power new product capabilities from concept to production
- Build fast, clean proofs of concept and evolve them into robust, scalable features
- Work iteratively, validating assumptions early and adapting based on feedback and data
- Take full ownership of technical projects, driving them forward with minimal direction
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure technical solutions align with real customer needs
- Help shape the architecture of systems that leverage AI and asynchronous processing at scale
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on software development, with a track record of shipping complex systems
- Strong command of Python and modern backend patterns—especially in serverless and cloud environments
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda and EC2, and asynchronous workflow design
- Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Proven ability to debug complex systems and solve open-ended problems
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where learning speed matters more than perfection
- Clear, proactive communication—surfacing risks, asking sharp questions, and keeping teams aligned
Nice to Have
- Hands-on work with large language models or generative AI applications
- Background in distributed systems or high-scale backend infrastructure
