Pfizer seeks a Senior Oncology Account Specialist (Hematology) in Spokane, WA to advance patient care by connecting our portfolio with healthcare providers. You will serve as a key link between Pfizer and the medical community, driven by a science-based, patient-focused quality culture.
What You'll Do
- Promote a broad portfolio of products to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate the healthcare community on the appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and the overall quality of care.
- Generate demand for Pfizer products within your assigned accounts.
- Develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans to achieve objectives.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships throughout institutions and with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Build lasting relationships with top priority customers.
- Assess target physician and account needs, addressing them with a responsive approach and appropriate resources.
What We're Looking For
- A BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution, OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience, OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel domestically with overnight stays as required.
- A valid US driver’s license and driving record meeting company standards; any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years is disqualifying.
- Minimum of 4 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience OR 4 years of Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- A demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or HCP experience.
- Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease information.
- Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s technology model.
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years of specific Oncology sales experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
