KoBold Metals is looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. Working closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams, you will deliver high-quality APIs and scalable cloud-based systems.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with Express or NestJS frameworks.
Design, implement, and optimize SQL databases on RDS/Aurora.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Containerize applications using Docker and maintain version control with Git.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Take ownership of features from conception to deployment and production support.
Identify and solve complex backend challenges, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and backend frameworks like Express or NestJS.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience with RDS/Aurora.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
Proficient in designing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects.
Self-motivated, hungry for challenges, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
