Clay is looking for a Senior Website (Backend) Developer for a freelance, remote role. You will focus on building and refining CMS-driven websites and digital products, collaborating with our development team to create robust backend solutions for internal and client projects.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with the development team to build out new site admin panels.
- Refine existing administrative tools for internal projects and clients.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in backend development for corporate websites and digital products.
- Hands-on experience with multiple CMS, including Headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Payload) and traditional CMS such as WordPress and Drupal.
- Strong understanding of databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Proven ability to take ownership of backend architecture and deliver high-quality results independently.
- Good command of written English.
- Availability to work within the CET timezone.
Nice to Have
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Webflow and website builders / no-code or low-code platforms.
- Experience with Redis.
