At Tietoevry, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for our Tech Consulting unit. You will design and implement enterprise network solutions for customers, taking technical ownership of new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and proofs of concept across routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement enterprise network solutions for customers.
- Work on new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and proofs of concept.
- Take technical ownership of solutions covering routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Contribute to complex troubleshooting when needed.
- Prepare solutions for handover to operations.
What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience with enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, especially OSPF and BGP.
- Practical experience with network security, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-vendor network environments.
- Experience with secure network design, segmentation, and VPN technologies.
- Understanding of identity-based networking concepts such as 802.1X, certificates, and authentication.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivered solutions.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and explaining technical topics clearly.
- Practical, structured mindset with attention to quality and stability.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to customer environments.
Nice to Have
- Check Point experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience with other vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) is also relevant.
- Cisco ISE experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Experience with network automation or scripting.
- Exposure to cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Participation in migrations or transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE or similar identity solutions.
