Daikin Applied is hiring an Application Support Specialist to provide technical and operational support for a SaaS platform serving global enterprise customers. In this role, you will act as a customer advocate, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve service problems.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the platform.
- Perform operational support tasks using Microsoft Cloud technologies.
- Scope customer issues by collecting facts and investigating problems through research and involving other teams.
- Consult and collaborate with peers, colleagues, management, and engineering globally to resolve service issues.
- Act internally as a customer/reseller advocate.
- Empower customers/resellers to find information and self-solve.
- Advise customers on how to gain additional value from their Microsoft products.
- Document technical work and research to help colleagues improve the product and support experience.
- Maintain a proactive approach to customer happiness and manage customer expectations.
- Take ownership of tasks, proactively follow up, and ensure fast resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Support experience in IT.
- Certified within Azure and/or M365 certification roadmap (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or Associate level).
- Strong SQL skills: ability to connect to databases, execute and create SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience working with APIs.
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure).
- Ability to identify, update and create Help Center articles.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to make quick decisions, align priorities and execute tasks.
- Be able to stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to communicate well and precisely.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with Google Cloud and Google Workspace licensing models.
- Experience with troubleshooting SaaS applications.
- Experience with licensing and invoices.
- Experience with MS partner center or similar administrator portals.
